The 34th annual Pretty Baby Contest at the Malheur County Fair
Saturday, August 3rd 2024
Each form for each child entered in the contest must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian.
Entry is FREE!
Entry form deadline:
- July 29th by 5:00pm submitted to Wiggles and Giggles, Snake River Pediatrics or Malheur County Fair Office.
Entry forms can be found and submitted at:

Contestants will be judged on temperament, personality, and general appearance (because all babies are adorable).
All contestants must be checked in at the Concert Stage in the lawn adjacent to NW 9th Street by 8:45am the morning of the contest. Judging will begin at 9:00am.
Employees and immediate family members of judges are not eligible to enter their children.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of the three categories: 0-6 months, 7-12 months, and 13-18 months.
One girl and one boy will be named Overall Grand Prize Winner.
All contestants receive a participation ribbon.
Decisions of the judges are final. Malheur County Fair and Wiggles and Giggles reserve the right to end the contest at any time.

Fair Camping
- Fill out application & submit by July 15, 2024. Don’t send money. If there is a group that wants spaces together please note on application.
- 8 names will be drawn to receive the power/water spaces in the Livestock Camping area. These campers will be notified by July 16th at 5pm. If you have not been notified by then, please make plans for generators and fans.
- Payment for camping and any other passes (including carnival) will be taken on Fair Clean-up Day.
- FIRE LANES MUST BE OPEN AT ALL TIMES. Please park within your designated camping area.

The Malheur County Fair and Rodeo: A Celebration of the Pacific Northwest
The Malheur County Fair and Rodeo has been a staple of the Pacific Northwest since its humble beginnings in 1909. Originally organized as the Ontario Corn Festival, the fair has evolved into one of the region’s premier agricultural and cultural events.
